The Magnificent Ms. Pham is Vietnamese Water Puppet show which was possible with the Jim Henson Grant. This story follows Kim who faces troubles such as the Vietnam War, societal norms towards women, and becoming a mother of 4. She is joined by deities Lady Q and Lady Trieu who guide her through the mishaps of it all.
For this production in 2026, we all contributed in creating every single aspect of this production. We used insulation foam, aqua defense, and paint. I was given the position of stage manager and played the role of Lady Trieu. This show was first premiered in 2024 at Turn Park Art Space in Massachusetts which I had the honor of working on as well.
